I just got done cleaning blacktruck and I just want to be in the garage so, I am posting this from the garage. Here is my awesome garage dog fatoldblackdog (aka Ginger) BTW, never buy a purebred dog, every winter she has skin issues because she has sensitive skin. I have never trained her but when we are outside she never goes past the bottom of the driveway, pretty awesome and convenient because I don't have to worry too much about her taking off.
Also, here is Boner
My wife sent me Boner as a Halloween decaration for my CHU (containerized housing unit) during my 2nd deployment to Iraq. I brought him home and now he lives in the garage.
And, finally clean blacktruck. First time he has gotten hand washed since November.

Im not super into trucks, but blacktruck is what I would look for if I needed one. That or a "go big or go home" crew cab dually.

blacktruck is pretty rad. I love the look of Ram trucks, way better to look at than the F-150.

I can say I am super into trucks, the first vehicle I ever really wrenched on was an '86 GMC 2wd RCSB (regular cab short bed if you are not into truck lingo). I had a couple of cars before then but this was the first vehicle I did alot of work to. It came with a stock 305 and turbo 350 (old GM 3 speed auto) I built the motor (worked over 350) and trans (worked over 700-R4) myself and swapped the rear-end myself.
I have loved trucks ever since. I have owned quite a few cars in between but I love having a truck around.

Thanks, Mrs blacktruck and I had had been talking about buying a Ram for since about '06 but I could never bring myself to actually by one. I found this one as a left over '14 model and bought it for about $6,000 off MSRP so I jumped on it.

Dachshund, when we got here (at some shady ass pet store in Korea) the dude told us she was a miniature and we believed him. We took her to the vet the day after we got her just to get her checked out and vet told us she had been weened way to early and that she was only 4 weeks old not six like the dude told us. We spent the next 2 weeks feeding her baby formula out of a bottle until she could eat real food.
She has had quite a few medical issues since then ($4,000 in surgeries, not counting prescription food and medication for her skin) but she is awesome. We try to watch her weight but she is getting old so taking her for walks is hard on her so, she is getting fat.

One of my managers at work just bought a truck identical to yours. I'm not usually a fan of singe cab trucks, but these Rams just look so damn right. Beautiful truck!

Sounds like a deal, I wish they still made something along the lines of the Dakota. Of course I would personally prefer a Chevy truck anyway, been keeping my eye on the Z71 Colorados.

Thank you, the manager made the right decision.

I think that strip of rubber in the second picture is more than enough proof that you gave it plenty of extra power along the way.
Is that a Pontiac GTA hiding back there?

I wish someone still made a smaller truck with a V8, or something El Caminoish, I definitely would have bought something like that instead. Even a 1500 is more that I really need.
I would have bought a GM if they had built the Cheyenne concept or offered the 6.2 in a RCSB configuration. The looks and power of the Hemi compared to the 5.3 is what got me to buy the Ram. If the 5.3 had as much power as the Hemi I would have said F' how it looks and bought a GM. I have owned 11 cars in my live and 6 of those have been GM's. I am definitely a GM guy.

Oh ya, I forgot about that little strip.
That was not a GTA, it was a WS6 Formula that also had a 350 swapped in favor of the 305. I dated the girl that owned it for about 2 years. Her dad worked with a dude that bought cars that needed work done to them (the 305 in the Firebird was blown when he got it) he would fix them up a little, then play with them for awhile and sell them when he found something new. Her dad drove a Silverado similar to this
that the dude that built her car put a supercharger on for him. Her brother drove a truck like mine but it was a slammed long bed. My truck was the fastest out of the 4.

that would be excellent, we can always dream of a new El Camino. I see why you went for the Ram, and agree that Cheyenne should happen.
I've grown up in a GM family, grandad was a factory worker for them, and my grandmother has owned GM vehicles exclusively. She has always picked really good ones, the Solstice GXP she had is my favorite. My mom broke the trend by buying a Caravan, I want to pick it back up with such a great history of vehicles to choose from. Kind of want to get an old Caprice wagon/Buick road master from the 90s and drop in a crate LS

Yes, do that! I want to do this so bad. Those cars are so cool looking. Just horribly under powered. If I had kids I would totally have something like this with an LS swap.

Haha, maybe in the future! I gotta finish college first, after that I plan to have some fun vehicles. The Caprice is just so unassuming! Perfect kind of car to drop in an LS.
